I have a 97 civic EX coupe so been talking to some people about getting front GSR/RSX (undecided atm) seats and if i go with GSR i was told to find black leather seats from a sedan integra because the coupe GSR bench seats will leave a big gap in the back. But if i wanted to get RSX front leather and rear bench would the rear bench RSX seats fit?

no the rsx rear seats will not fit in unless u do some custom fab work.

 

Putting rsx seats in the front doesnt look too difficult, you will need to make plates, that you mount the rsx seat to, and then bolt into your factory spot, check the faq there is a diy in there i belive on front and back seats. I belive all you have to do is swap the seat frames, but this will leave ugly gaps on top.

For the gsr's swap the inner rail and your good. On the back you will need the four door bottom and coupe top.

 

so GSR is my best option, new to the scene, did they make GSR sedans? if so or not is it hard to come by a leather bench seat?

 

awesome, thanks for the input, imma prob going with just GSR's front and back, now its time to find some.... any ideas in Southern cali? i'm down in diego and i was told of a few spots that could have them junkyard wise so i should be good, time to play the waiting game until some pop up

 

Yes they did make gsr seadans, however, i have only seen 4 with factory black leather they are quite hard to find, even more so, someone willing to sell them.

 

i dont think theywill altho my boy has them in his integra but im not sure

i put rsx seats in my eg. they look sick and are perfect for harness's if you remove the rears seats all together.
