Default Replica Hytech Header flange hangs TOO LOW! anyone else have this issue?

I have a Replica Hytech Header and the collector flange that bolts up to the rest of the exhaust hangs too low. It looks like the design of the header that it just points down.

Does anyone else have this issue?

92 integra vtec....do u have a B17 by any chance? If u do and u ordered the header for a b18 then that's y. The b16,17 has a shorter oil pan the b18 so it sits too low. likewise a b16,17 header won't clear a b18 oilpan

I have a LS/VTEC with the B-series replica hytech small tube header that was bought from pipi-outlet on ebay. The flange itself just sit WAY too low because the bottom section is on too much of an angle pointing down.

Here are some pictures. Does anyone else have this issue?

I would take it to an exhaust shop right now and have them modify it.

I ordered and am running the RMF narrow style header and it has really good ground clearance. I absolutely love the header.

Can you take pictures of your clearance and how low it is like I did with mine so I can see a few different angles?

I don't mind that header sit low, the flange is what bothers me. And the only way to fix that would be to cut it at the single pipe and weld it straighter, but I don't want to do it.

Take the header out and put it in a vise, heat up the pipe as far forward as u can, while its cherry take a pry bar and stick it in the outlet and bend it upward.

Id fix that quick your gonna be hurtin if that flange catches somethin.

Oh and stay away from ebay crap unless its and name brand

So you bought a cheap Chinese knockoff and it doesn't fit perfectly like the real header?

I don't care if you do, just don't complain that a POS fits like a POS.

I'm just wanting to know if any others had this problem or not. Trying to find out if it is a defect/flaw if so, I'll just buy another one..

I'm thinking about the RMF one. But whats to say the real ones are any different?

Because I have an authentic Hytech header and can tell you firsthand that the fitment is spot-on perfect. You definitely get what you pay for, and quality with proper R&D is rarely cheap.

Raise your car, or buy a real header. Those are your options.

i just installed this header (93 DB1), i cut off my cat to get it to fit to find out the flange sits literally 1cm off the ground... i couldn't get my rad support back on either... just by having someone sit in the car it touches the ground.. the flange scrapped hard just moving it out of the garage.. i don't know if i want to sacrifice this ground clearance for the power gain... god damn the header looks sweet though
