Default WTB: This Cover! ASAP.

as some of you know I had a little incident on the freeway and broke 2 of the bolts that go through the hasport mount into this tranny cover (which cracked and now the bolts dont screw on anymore). Well I need this cover! D16y8 engine...anyone got one laying around?!? For those who dont know what im talking about..

the cover that's in focus in the first pic. (where the left side of the engine mounts bolt on to)

the tranny housing? so the two studs that hold on the trans bracket broke off?

yessir..the engine is currently holding on from the main stud (which is the one with the little point facing upwards) the other two broke, and cracked the housing. So I went to the honda dealership, got two new bolts...but they dont screw in because the housing is cracked. Scary stuff driving your car with 1 bolt holding that sucker.

unless your tranny is in super good shape and shifts perfect, i would just swap it out and forget having to deal with swapping housings.

thats what one of my buddies told me too...thing is everything is perfect with the tranny. Shifts perfect, no grinds, smooth...its gona be a biiish but I gotta find the damn housing. Tried pick a part... dealer wants an arm and a leg...last resort honda-tech
