I recently got the cel on and it flashes for a bit, then stays on and repeats. The car boggs a little, and the muffler sputters. So I took it in to autozone for a free-code scan last week. The guy didnt tell me exactly the code name or # but said it came up as a "misfire" so he told me to get my ignition/fuel-injectors/fuel system checked out at a shop. A week later, which is yesterday I took it in and the mechanic couldnt find the issue, dont think he was able to scan it, since he couldnt find the port in my car for his tool to scan. He replaced my spark plugs, and put in fuel injection cleaning. Checked my fuel-filter, and distributor cap. I got the car back and the CEL is still on, but it seems to drive much better/smoother/stronger i should say and doesnt bogg. Wondering if anyone's gsr does this, cel light come on randomly? or could it still be something else. Car has 142k mileages, so it probably needs maintenance lol. My friend said the acuras/integras/rsx has this common issue, and his bro's rsx, got the same code on him, all he did was clean up his clogged fuel-injectors. Well the car seems fine, but should I still worry that the light is on? it doesnt flash anymore with driving it around. The mechanic told me to drive it a few days if it aint good, then he'll do the wires. Anyone know or has this happened to you before?

Why can't u just tell the poor kid, 1 stay away from autozone they blow
2 unplug your ecu and wait 10 mins n plug it back in,
3 you should go roast on that garage cause eather they're bullsh!ttin u cause they can't get the light off or they r effinn lazy cause it don't take much to find the scan plug. (Even the autozone guy did)

Clear the ecu and go from there

All the ones I been to have a bunch of dweebs with no clue behind the counter, don't trust them they hire based on criminal background not experience or knowledge
