I've been looking into getting a new sedan si, but it's been a hell of a time trying to even find one. Every dealer i've talked to told me they paused production because shortages of parts, or they only make a small amount a year.

I've even tried placing a deposit on one to order but been actually rejected saying "it would be pointless to put a deposit, we would just give it back to you" because they can't find any.

I live in Wilkes Barre, PA, is anyone else having this problem also?

Does anyone know if the shortages or parts, or the other rumors are true? Maybe i should look for another model?

yeah dude i was trying to find one since the beginning of february. i gave up a couple of weeks ago bought a pre owned si 4dr cause i needed a car.

 

Trust me its a BIG SHORTAGE... I've been looking since December of 09' If I wasn't picky with color, I would have had mine by now. I'm been waiting for a PMM FA5 and still waiting.... I'm from socal and it says a lot if socal has none.

 

They are getting scarce here in Canada as well, I had to get mine shipped to me from another city, and it was the last one there too.

 

I guess it's a waiting game for the 2011's.

 

I was looking for a 2010 or a 2009 in december 2009, gave up and got a 2008 with 15k miles. I was picky in the color, wanted red coupe ONLY. I spent about three months waiting to give you an idea. BTW im in california.

 

Damn, i keep hearing mixed rumors from dealers. One dealer is promising me that they have them at the "port" just waiting for orders. Might put a deposit and see what happens.

I am also trying to find a red one.
