.::The Timeline & Rebuild of DO™s Del Sol::.
So yeah... i made this thread elsewhere and was told by a good friend to go ahead and share it with my Honda-Tech family. I thought this would have been too soon but fùck it right? RIGHT!
Okay soooo.... back in 2003 i bought a Honda del sol right? Right. it was my second car after my ballin *** Mitsubishi Mirage done shitted on me.
Sooo... i didnt know what the hell a camera was back then so i didnt get pictures of it in its completely stock 14" rim state so naturally i decided to take camera phone pics when i got my first mod.
BOOM!!! 17's son! you couldn't tell me ****! i ate my Frosted Flakes went to work and stunted on ERRBODY! :alright
So... after i got my basic bolt-on groove on i decided i needed to keep up with the Jones' and get a kit. but sadly around the same time i sold my 17s so i could fund something else i cant think of... ohh!! a motor! i blew my motor!
but yeah so... i got my kit on. got it painted and once again i stunted on ERRBODY!!
THEN! The JDM craze hit. I was like ****... i gotta keep up with the Jones' so i got rid of my bodykit to a friend and put back on my beat up OE parts (fortunately i was still able to source them seeing that they were spread across the entire state between friends)
but yeah i got a ballin' anus JDM Mugen replica lip and copped me some GSR fat fives with 205/50s fo da lo lo dope boy price of $75 (im fo realz... the boy did coke HEAVILY)
and THAT is where the back then they dint want me now im hot they all on me transformation began.

So uhhhh.... yeah!
after further inspection we came to the conclusion that i needed another paint job to accomodate my new/old body parts... BAD and that my current parts wouldn't look right simply painted so i sourced a new door from a parts car i had and new 75 dollar fenders, a 50 dollar bumper, and i found an un****ed hood.
at this point it seemed like only I understood that i didnt plan on keeping my car looking like this so i got flamed. i live in Atlanta the Gay capital of the south and the masses still had the audacity to flame me like no tomorrow. the heat on the boards was so intense my A,H,J,7,8, & numpad 4 burnt. Don't ask why it just did. I was hurt. but i had to carry on with my build that no one understood.
here was the progress at the time...
oh yeah... if you noticed i got rid of my crazy tyte muffler and got an OEM del sol VTEC muffller, got me a drift charm, aaaaand swapped wheels AGAIN. OEM Honda wheels were my bestest friend :D

ahh YEAH! i got another set of wheels! :alright
at this time i started to REALLY understand the value of wheels so i said to myself "Maaaaaan i gotsta step my game up so i can keep up with these ballers and **** in da scene and **** yo! Sooo... lemme get these replica joints so i can floss crazy tight"
So thats what i did after i purchased new fenders considering the fact that my OE fenders were deemed unworthy.
oh and i got another door... why? I cant even remember but i do recall going through 3 doors in a 2 week span. Weird fo sho.
so this is how it sat for a week or so...

thanks for the feedback thus far ya'll!
So yeah.... the week came and left and i dropped the car off at the bodyshop and here's what they gave me in return...
THEN it began... The era of the Honorable DO™ commenced.
i got love from folks that hated my body and soul for attempting to restore my vehicle. I gave hope to folks of minimal means like myself and i forced the closeminded STI Wagon owners to never again doubt my ability to bring my dreams to fruition.
throughout the year of 2006-2007 id post my vehicle on a couple forums with pictures id take almost every other day on my lunch breaks. i loved my vehicle and it loved me. But... this was NOT enough...
