I've been looking around for a good air to air intercooler and I haven't really seen anyone's up close. Just wanted to see who's using who's? T1, AFI, Full Race, NRG and ETC... It seems to me that everyone is using Garrett 24" x 12" x 4.5" cores? Or? Just wanted to get some feedback. Let see your set up...

air to air ^^^?
I'm running an AFI intercooler but they still use the garrett cores. 24x12x3.5. I have a 4.5'' core sitting here too but that thing was way to thick for a stock bumper IMO. too much cutting for my taste but it would work great with your front end.

i have a 25x 11.75x 3.5 perrin intercooler made for an evo9...anybody know what the most hp i can get?? it fits on my integra better than it does the evo...
Franklin, have you seen the intercooler LJ's s2k? That was built in house. I can do one up for a civic platform if you want
I had to take this image from a video so sorry if the quality is mediocre. It's the only image I have of the new IC reservoir that we fabbed and welded to the top of a PT1000 air/water IC.
We have a Rule 61 GPM pump mounted inside of the reservoir. It holds about 5.5 gallons of water.

Im running the Garrett 24.0x12.0x4.5 703522-6005
I have a couple logs but im at 9600ft DA so the the turbo is working MUCH harder compared to the sea level guys. Ambient was in the 90's F. Both runs were done the same day. I dont know if this will help you out much.
42psi at 7600rpm, pwm is 95%, Air temps 139 degrees. ET 9.68 at 155mph
35psi at 7600rpm, pwm is 75%, Air temp 118 degrees. ET 9.52 at 159mph

I love how the title is for air to air intercoolers and yet everyone has post liquid to airs..lol

Air to Air boyz... LOL...
Thanks for the info Court, man you guy's are 9600 ft above? Damn! What difference between 7 psi...
You'll be hereing from me soon. Hope you're feeling better man
Tony, I saw your temp sensor on your site bro... What's the difference between your's, then let's say example AEM's? I'm assuming there is from your question to Court...

The difference is likely response time.
Tony, do you have the characteristic response time for your sensor and the GM IAT? (PM if you would prefer to keep this on topic)
The fact it's 1/8" NPT is pretty slick too.

The AEM sensor and Tony's sensor are very similar. Very similar response time....
I think the point he is trying to make is the OEM vs. an AEM/T1 sensor....

The element is the same in the AEM/GM/ours. Same response time, which is excellent, and same cal. The OEM Honda sensor is MUCH different, that's why I asked Cort. The nice thing about ours is the 1/8 NPT and DTM connector.
I beat my head against the wall trying different air/air intecoolers on my car trying to get my temps as good as everyone else's. Turns out, the difference was the sensor. Put my intercooler on Art's car, same Motec ecu but Honda temp sensor on Art's and GM temp sensor on mine and that fixed it, temps were much better! lol
If you're going to compare temp data, the sensor and ecu used, as well as sensor location are crucial details. Compressor inlet temp will go a long way because obviously it has a big affect on intercooler outlet temp. My IC outlet temps are cooler at 350 deg inlet vs. 500 deg inlet, go figure... lol
