If you want to make good power, you would probably want to look into getting higher compression pistons, and ITB's (Individual Throttle Bodies) are good for N/A builds. You'll also want to get some good Cams. Intake, Header, Exhaust, Individual Throttle Bodies, Cams, Spark Plugs/Ignition System (MSD is good), and you could even upgrade the injectors (not too much--remember that it's only an N/A build). Then, purchase a better engine management system, and get it tuned. If I were you, I would invest in boosting it. If it was a GSR or Type-R, then I would be more prone to staying N/A, but since it's an LS, I would do a mild build (Pistons, Rods, etc.), and then invest in a turbo kit (personally).

"3 gz"? Is that supposed to indicate your budget? If so, stop typing/talking gansta And if so, that's not going to get you very far if you're looking for HP gains.

Best bet is to just throw it into suspension and tires and make it a monster-handling car, then save up more and focus on engine/HP later.

It all depends on what your power goals are.

ITB = DD fail especially for LS where the mid to low end is already practically nonexistent on a build revving high enough to need ITBs. IMO there is very little point in doing an all-motor build on a non-VTEC LS. Either save for FI or stick with handling mods as PatrickGSR recommends. That's my opinion.

Thank you. That's kinda what I said there at the end of my post--that since it's not a GSR or Type-R, it wouldn't be a good idea to invest in a N/A build. I simply suggested ITB's because they provide a pretty decent power gain.
