Just purchased a '96 Honda Shuttle (Odyssey) and we need another key but it has a chip. It is the UK version of the Odyssey but seems to be the exact same thing. Does anyone have a contact to get a new key? I have and can provide all the information needed. I checked locally and it's ridiculous.

you can only get them fromthe dealer. $150 wouldnt be surprising for a new key.

 

If the key cost that much it might be cheaper to get a us ecu that doesn't require a chip in the key to start

 

Thanks guys. I'm looking at 200 Euro which is approximately $265 and I'm needing two because the one that I have is jacked.

I'll start looking around for an ECU too which doesn't sound like a bad idea. I just want to make sure that it has the same restrictions, U.S. vs U.K. model.

 

If you look around( it was removed from this site) there is a write up on how to remove the disabling device from the ecu. If it is removed the car runs fine but the ecu light on the dash stays on. There is some kind of resistor or diode you can solder in place if it to remove the light. Do a search I'm sure it's around
