Can we get a break down of the timeslip?? Is that 1620lbs with the driver?? What size slicks and what trans are you running?

We ran a CRX last week that is 1900lbs with the driver and it ran a 10.93 @ 127mph with the driver hitting the limiter in 2nd with only 340whp.

Think u need to get in the 10's first. I don't see why u couldn't get in the 10's with that mph and at the weight of the car. How much does the driver weigh.

I mean they have 10.40 and 50 cars that weigh 215 with driver and 129-130mph. I hope that u are very traction limited.

the car burns 1st 2nd and 3rd but 4th hooks good(even though it burns it still pulls)
still isn t the mph too low?
two different drivers tried (150-170lb driver)
we only got two runs
and the 60 foot on the rite lane didn t work on this event.........

i'd say go to a good track and lower the air pressure in the slicks to like 8 pounds.

My boi ran a 10.9 with the same power and more weight that very same weekend. He also ran it on the right lane. Full weight civic hatch with 24.5x9's. You have the MPH for 10's especially with a chassis that light. We have 2 cars that run 11.3-11.4's with 350 whp and were not even trapping that much. Only 120-122 MPH.

8psi is way too high, we run 5.5psi in our slicks. You also may need to turn the boos down in the lower gears.

On those slicks with that weight I think you need to be under 300whp in 1st gear.

on 1st gear we run just wastegate
( its a 4lb spring but the methanol makes it creep to 9psi)
so its lik 4-9psi lol............
2th gear its like 6-12psi
3rd and 4th is 18psi max

maybe we need some boost in 1st gear
it burns but still pulls hard

This is very believable, remember rev-speed it's all about the area under the torque/hp curve in drag racing and putting it to the ground with whatever size slicks/traction bar setup/suspension setup and optionally boost by gear so you can leave your foot on the firewall. Those slicks should be fine for the power your making and weight w/driver to hook up in most cases. What traction bar setup and coilover springrates do you run and can we see a dyno sheet ?

In my old 3000lb integra(full weight, AC, PS, 10Pt cage) I went 11.01@132mph and that was spinning the clutch. Granted I made more power than you but your MPH right now is good for 10's for sure

get a b16 transmission, will make a world of difference at that level. In a heavier EF, was around 2000lbs with driver, we went 10.43 @ 137 with 435whp and like 280 tq or less

Was this a Howard tune on the CRX?

I made 315whp and my car would have ran mid to low 11's all day in a full weight EG hatch. Made 289whp and ran 11's on street tires so take from that what you want.

My street civic eg runs 10.8 with 450hp at the flywheel. The dyno dynamics reads 419hp but power is defo around 450.

No, I tuned it on a dynojet

A full weight eg can be anything from 2200lbs to 2600lbs with a driver.

that's the way they should look on FWD cars, lol

The whole 10.93 run was on 10psi/340whp. We never got to try any higher boost because we broke the trans this past weekend at Pinks.

Sounds/looks like a pretty viable drag race setup only two things I'd like to comment on:

First off, you may want a more firm/progressive rate/adjustable set of front shocks. I run blues on my street car w/GC Coilovers and say they are nice for an entry-level, aftermarket, DD setup but may not be what your drag car wants/needs to hook up at the track.
Secondly, what type of traction bar is it (Full-Race, ETD/K-Tuned, Innovative or Custom)?
I ask this because even though some will argue they all do the same thing, and in theory yes they are all made to peform the same job. But, they are obvious design elements, material usage, amount of testing and welding location/technique Advantages to the Full-Race piece over the rest. And I say this not to start a pissing match but to state the facts. I personally run an ETD bar to save a few bucks and would say it performs its job well reducing wheel hop substancially and even lets my car hook up 2nd during a street drag launch with Falken Azenis on. On a darker note, I would say you may experience some fitment/clearance issues (I did/do) and my heim joints are starting to rust after little street use and 2-2+1/2 years sitting outside (may be normal but it's supossed to be all Stainless and Coated Aluminium not Mild and raw Al. I thought)
Now let's see that dyno graph!
