So heres my problem, along with things I've tried to do to fix my problem.

Problem: Car rides rough and poppy until 2800rpm once warmed up, if the car is not warmed up - it rides normal. Past 2800rpm it runs great.

Things I've tried to fix: Replaced spark plugs, oil change, filled tank, change fuel filter, cleaned the FITV.

My friend who knows a little somethin' about cars told me he thinks its the throttle body? That it might need cleaned.. Or that there needs to be some adjustments done?

What do ya'll honda people think?

is it throwing any codes? how old are your wires and cap and rotor? and j/w, you wouldn't by chance be the guy that rolls around by david douglas high school with a loud *** dual exhaust would you?

 

what computer are you running? and who did the chip?

 

No I'm in Salem not PDX. Not throwing any codes.. Cap + rotor, plugs n wires are all new.. Dunno bout the chip I'll check it out.

 

iavc? bad wiring? could be a lot of things. i start by taking your iavc out and do a decent job cleaning.. or maybe your throttle body.

 

oh ok sorry to confuse you with some one else. my hatch did this before, and i believe my timing ended up being off a tooth.
