Default Need help!! d16z6 IACV!

Okay right now i have a d16y7 in the car, Im putting in my d16z6 motor in. Do i need to use the d16z6 Idle air control valve? or the d16y7 Idle air control valve. I am not switching out the wire harness. Do i need a obd2 IACV? i was told that by a shop but the other shop said i needed a d16z6 Iacv. please help! I will still be running a OBD2 but with a chipped ecu with a jumper harness to OBD1.

? you will still be running obd2 but are running a chipped ecu with obd2 to obd1 conversion harness? that means youll be running an obd1 ecu correct? which in turn means youll be running obd1? if this is correct you will need to use a 2 wire iacv which is the one on the z6 mani not the y7 tb. here is a thread on another forum that shows the pinout. http://www.d-series.org/forums/force...onversion.html. and you will need to block off the y7 iacv with a plate. and use the 2 wire z6 iacv so your gonna need to get a 2 wire iacv plug also.
