Hello...i was wondering if it would be easier and cheaper to buy a CRX with a pre-swapped b16a set up...or to buy a crx with the stock d16 and then swap it out myself....i know i can do the swap, so basically all i want to know is what would be cheaper? and what you guys would do.

find one that's already swapped...good deals out there if you can fix someone else's work

 

If you're going to buy a CRX thats swapped already then yea, be prepared to fix other peoples mistakes, you'd be amazed at the dumb s**t people do. That being said, these days there are some great deals to be had, with the economy and all, people are selling their projects for cheap

 

Thanks a bunch..I have been seeing a lot of them lately fully swapped and for farely cheap i didn't know if that was sketchy or not...it definitely would help if it was already pre-swapped. I will definitley do that though. Do you guys know where the best place to look would be?

 

Your local Craigslist postings are probably the best place to start, also the regional classifieds here on HT for the North East Just make sure you thoroughly check out anything you decide on, like more than a normal used car
