OK I STARTED THIS PROJECT BACK IN JANUARY AND JUST DECIDED TO MAKE A BUILD THREAD. iplan on having this car done by august and make it to honda day in e town new jersy. i will have a parts list here on the first page that i will update as parts come in.

i'm so pissed i lost the pics of my car when i first started to shave the bay. all stock 96 dx hatch with the factory engine. i tore that out and started welding and filling all the holes. shaving everything was probally the most time consuming part of this build to date. but it was well worth it. the first set of pics i have is once i primed and sealed the bay

all shaved and primed and sealed. up next paint for the bay

 

paint.......california sunset metallic. the closest color to 24k gold ive been able to find. the pics dont do justice

 

so i picked up apowdering coating gun and an oven and decided to powder coat my crossmember and front knuckels and front lower control arms. the theame for my whole bay will be chrome gold and black. oh yeah also got some k sprots, wicked tunning upper control arms, and and benon 3 point strut bar

 

chase bats brake booster delete. that must have part for a shaven and tucked bay. looks so sick with my custom clutch line and floating resiviour for the clutch. the front end is back on for now

 

brake line tuck. everything replaced from the master to the proportioning valve to the front to the rear brakes. all earl's fittings

 

started scraping all the sound deadning material. i wont be running the rear interior in this car. also took off all the brackets for the rear seats and made a custom struttowerbar for the rear

 

rear susoension set up so far. asr x member brace, beaks tie bar, 24mm sway bar, skunk 2 lcas, blox adjustible links,wicked tunning camber kit, wicked tunning toe arms, k sports, and a rear brake conversion. chromed rear trailing arms

Hot color, what brand of paint? or is it a OEM color? I like the booster delete, something I used to do in my mini truck days lol Nice work keep it up

Not bad. That polished front lower tie bar is going to have to go tho, it wont clear with a K swap header. The only way it might possibly clear is if you run Hasport EKK1 mounts.
