Default LS-V vs H2B

Hello my fellow honda lovers
I am in need of some in put for my build. So to all the ALLL motorr experts and the honda enthusiasts ,retired racers, aswell as the current street racers. i have a race coming up preety soon with a local friend from around the way for $700
basically i would like some input from ppl with some knownledge

here it goes
its an all motor race
*1/4 mile street race
*best out of 3
*no turbo
*no noz
*has to be B series
*the winner gets $1400
thats the terms and conditonts "basicaly"

my opponents car
96 LS 4 door (DB8)
-H22head slight port n polish
-stage 2 buddy club cams n gears
-springs retainers
-h22 block with a slight bore and pistons(unknown)
-b16 tranny
-clutch and flywheel
bastard didnt mention he was using a h22
o well...im not realy 1 to back down from a bet so im racing him any way
on a positive note hes not the best driver

my car
00 civc si FBP...they ftw
i currently have a stock ITR dropout in the si
i have 3 blocks to chose from, well actaully 2 since i dont want much downtime and im leaving the itr stock so i have 2 spare complete blocks and a blown b16

1st option
-gsr with stock bore
-oem ctr pistons
-b16 head
-stage 2 crower cams
-springs&retainer
-sknk2 68mm throttle body
-sknk2 manifold
-tuned on crome, p28
with this set up i got 174hp and around 133tq which will not cut it
that h22 is preety beasty

2nd option
-spare LS long block thats been sitting around for a few yrs
-i already have complete LS V kit,golden eagle(new)
-have 81.5 mm bore aftermarket high comp b16 piston set(new)
the ls was the route i planned on taking since i need the torque

3rd option
-gsr with ls internals(maybe)
dont know if i wana use the gsr block
spun rod bearing
-but is it worth rebuilding with the LS internals ?

4th option
-you tell me honda tech
-give me some input u street racing feens
-with the parts i have listed u can mix n match to give me ur opinion on the best set up for my chances to beating that h2b

this is what i had planed
- LS V
- i already have a fulllly built b16 head
-port-n-polished
-valve job
-springs & retainers
-some crazy *** stage 3 cams im gona borrow from a friend
-sknk2 pro cam gears
-sknk2 trottle body
-sknk2 manifold
-the LS block 81.5 mm bore
-aftermarket high comp b16 piston set
-my ITR tranny of cource(preety much my main advantage over him)
and that is all i am using from the itr
-traction bar(need to get) which brand..any recomendations?
-header(need to get) any recomendation?? dont want to pay $1000 for it either but i need somthing goood
-2.5 vibrant exhaust no cat

thanks in advance

anything short of you sleeving it to 2.0, you're not likely to win this.
