Icon2 Swapping an d16a6 88' engine into 90' CRX SI ("FICV ISSUES?")

So I just swapped an 88' SI engine into my 90' SI shell the 88 does not have a Fast Idle Control Valve. I'm going to repin the 6 wire into a round 8 wire plug. Do I need to add a FICV and run the wires? or can I just leave FICV wires unconnected and not run one? Will that mess up the ECU and through a code? What should I do?

it's designed to raise idle at extremely low ambient air temps. so you dont really need the ficsv, and it will not throw a code.

How about engine codes or idle issues???

like i said.. it won't cause a code to be thrown. the only way it would affect your idle is if you happen to live in an area where you see temperatures of 14 degrees fahrenheit or colder.
