My friend's trying to put in my transmission. I have a 96' integra ls and we can't seem to find the pin for the throw out bearing. I don't know if it's similar to the shift linkage pin but I need one before I can put my transmission in. Does anyone know where I can find that throw out bearing pin?

 

Never heard of a throwout bearing pin, and I've replaced a few throwout bearings in my time. There is the shift linkage pin a.k.a b!tch pin, and the throwout bearing that goes around the transmission input shaft. There is also the clutch release fork which has a little spring on it. Got a pic or a diagram or something that shows it or shows where it goes?

 

Yeah I looked it up on a 93' integra tranny. I found out it only needs a bolt. And you were right, it was for the clutch release fork. You're so smart.
