Default my project hatch

well, baught this hatch a while back and it had the stock d16a6 with a rod through the block and 240k miles, only mods were a exhaust and eg seats(just sitting in there with no bolts).. so heres some updates

the only inside shot i took, the dash was terrable (huge crack)

the swap pretty much complete using avid mounts and linkage

got rid of the crap z3 fenders and lowered it on coilvers about 2in drop

painted valve cover, using airplane stripper to remove old paint and plain old krylon paint i think it turned out pretty good [IMG][/IMG]

also added a aem cai instead of the crappy short ram

yeah there playing cards, it was a idea gone bad, i clearcoated them on there and they would have stayed but it was snowing and i put my hood back on without letting it dry enough so there peeling off badly[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

and as for other plans, i have a crx dash that will go in when i get time, and i have a diffrent b16 tranny i want to get rebuilt. i also have a quaffe lsd thats going in the new tranny. oh and a wire tuck

DUDE!!! I love that idea for the plaing cards!!! As Long as you get enought clear over the whole thing you shouldnt have a problem with them comming off.

Props for the idea, I just might have to steal it from you.

Im digging the valve cover too, soo sick.

That or you could rust it out.
Did that bafore, but i lost my pictures of it.
We did a rusty rising sun on the hood.

i dont know about the rust, im afraid of it spreading lol.. the hardest part of the cards is getting them to lay flat once you spray them with clear they start to curl up. if i do it again ill glue them on and then hit them with the clear. ill also use more cards

well, i baught wire loom/elec tape/zip ties and shrink wrap, im basically going to take my harness out and re make it longer and delete all the pluggs i dont need. ive already done away with the a/c harness and the coolant fan harness. im going to run the headlight wires through the frame that the fenders bolt to.

actually just started my crx dash install. kinda ticked the dash isnt in that good of shape, found alot of cracks and i still need alot of pieces

the gauge cover is more rounded and the center whare the radio is actually turned toward the driver in the crx.
