ok so this is weird and im lost my car never gets hot but if i sit for way to long in traffic or something the car will overheat cause the fan dont kick on so i tested the fan its good tested the wires to the fan there both positive which i belieive is right and when the motor gets hot enough it makes one a ground... checked the fusses and swithched the sensor on the thermostat still does it i know i can run a toggle but would rather it work right any help would be great.. maybe theres a relay or something im missing... it use to work..

replace the fan switch? some call it fan sensor, same **** lol

 

have you jumped the wires at the fan switch on the back of the block to see if the fan then comes on? if it does, then the switch is bad. if it doesn't, then the issue is either with the relay, or wiring leading to it.

thank u thank u ive been dealing with this for way to long problem fixed turns out it was the relay one of the prongs was bent from some one, so i put a new one in and works perfect u rock ......
