Default cheaper custom b-pipe or purchased b-pipe

I just installed a DC header on a 2000 DX. I need to get a cat welded on to a b-pipe and im getting 2.25 b-pipe installed. Is is cheaper to buy the pipe or just get it custom made with the cat welded on? I was quoted 250 all together parts and labor........

Depends on the shop and what you can find online. Usually most shops will be cheaper.

Your price sounds alright, though if you haven't shopped around I'd recommend doing so.

I shopped around and the place that I am going to is charging me 250. That includes welding flanges on the cat and the B-pipe in case I want to put in a test pipe. Also running 2.25 iping all the way back to the exhaust. Appreciate the input
