For Sale: AEM EMS 30-1050
I have an AEM EMS 30-1050 I bought brand new from a shop off ebay about 4 years ago and never used. The car it was going into got totaled when I got hit by a drunk driver. I paid $1100 for it brand new. I plugged it in and messed around with it a little bit but never got a chance to have it put on a dyno and tuned before the car got wrecked. Now there is one little problem I discovered after I purchased it. The serial number sticker on the EMS had been removed as well as the sticker on the outside of the box by the shop I got it from. They had thousands of positive feedback and I didn't understand why the sticker was removed. I called them and they gave me some story and I was somewhat naive and never looked futher into it because I was never planning on selling it. After a few years went by I tried to look up who I bought it from to figure out a cure to this since I knew it'd be an issue if I tried to sell it and ebay couldn't provide me with the information as it was purchased too long ago and I couldn't find the receipt either. As many people I've sold to on here can say, I am a very honest person when it comes to selling stuff so I'm trying to be up front about this. It is in the original box and it has a serial number written on the top of the box lid. It has the cable and the disc as well. The seals are still intact and it hasn't been tampered with at all. I'm taking reasonable offers for it as it is just sitting in my closet not being used and I just need to off everything I have and save to buy a new car. I'm gonna be posting a built GSR short block soon too.
