I've got a 5th gen hatch with an LS swap and my high beams don't work. My headlights do switch from high to low. But when the high beams are supposed to be on is when the city lights are on. And when the city lights are on they are very dim. The high beam light on the dash never turns off also. The light on the dash will brighten when the high beams are supposed to be on and go dim when the city lights are supposed to be on but it never shuts off completely.

On a side note, the headlight sockets are manually wired into the harness but I know they are wired correctly.

I also have the correct bulbs

Any suggestions of what I could do to fix this?

are you 100% sure they are wired up right.. check your connections/grounds

 

i have a similar proclem with my eg hatch... except my problem is that when my low beams are on the right light is on low beam and the left is on high beam... and when i switch the lever to high beam they flip flop... i have no idea on the wiring tho

 

I'm %99 sure. I'll check again tomorrow when I dont have work
