Summer is coming up and I am doing a 99/00 front end conversion on my red EK hatchback. I am gonna do some body work with bondo and primer my car. What color should I paint it? Keep it red or something else?

IMO if it didn't come Midori green don't paint it Midori...but that's just me so you guys...don't get upset alright!

midori is cool however its not as satisfying as the original which was rare to find. (so no bragging rights) So I would go with red just because I like red with black moldings especially with sir bumpers and white rims

cosign. i don't care how nice a car is, if I see a white car with a red bay it makes me sick.

on that note, paint your car white. it's classy and has some flash. it also has the best resale value if you ever decide to part with the car. in any case, i think white is the nicest color.

 

just keep it red. a color change is a pita even if you are doing it yourself.

white. Nothing looks as clean as a NICE CLEAN white paint job on a civic.

Yeah, a color change is a PITA but it can definitely be worth it if done right.

 

lol im planning on just painting whatever part of the car people can see. the engine bay will be painted when i swap out the engine. so you will still see some red if you look hard enough (like the inside of the door).

 

why don't you just make it easier and paint it all at once? this way you don't risk getting a two-tone paint job. just painting the visible part is micky mousing it.
