Can't find any perfect match after search. I want to primer my 90 red crx to black until I can save enough for a paint job. How do I primer the car? I already have tons ofr 600 grit paper and 12 cans of flat black primer! Do I sand and paint? or acid wash? or just pay a shop? HELP!!!

 

Yes you can sand it off the paint then you spray the primer.

the only time you should ever prime anything is if its bare metal or if has deep scarthes you need to fill.....never just primer your whole car.. the shop will charge you more to take all that shitty spray paint enamel primer you sprayed on it...
