I need to repalce the ecu but should I worry about what year it was from or is any year 88-91 dx ok. I also was wondering if would matter if the ecu was originally for an atuomatic or not? If anyone knows the ecu code I should be looking for please let me know. Any help is appreaciated greatly.

 

The 88-91 Civic/CRX DX ecu is a PM5. Autos and manuals have different ecus. You should use the correct one for the car to run properly.
