Default EX engine harness on GSR motor

I have a ex harness and wondering can I just swap it on to a gsr longblock with no engine harness. Im running a p28 w/ gsr basemap so I wont need to add wires for knock or IAB but will any wires need to be extended or will I have to alter wires to distributor in anyway?

its easier and less problem free if you just get the proper harness

D16Z6 doesn't have a knock sensor? Aside from the B18C1 manifold butterfly's I thought 92-95 Civic VTEC harness was plug and play for a 94-95 B VTEC series engines.

i've always been told to use your vehicles stock harness, and just ad wires and plugs for the needed sensors. so o/p, if you have an ex i don't see why the ex wiring harness wouldn't work. all the main plugs are the same, after all. and if you have an aftermarket intake manifold, no iab wiring needed any ways...

it works, there's a couple wires that need to be extended like o2 sensr and I think one more plug. But can't remember which one, off the top of my head.

Either way its not hard to do with the motor in. Just wait till its in and measure from there.
