Congrats to Justin Nassey (Bubsboostedeg), first 9 sec pass.. 9.70@157.45 T4/T67

Its been a long time coming! Best previous pass was 10.1@149..

Pretty simple setup..

Sleeved 81mm GSR
Mahle pistons
Eagle rods
OE bearings
GSR head
JG intake mani
Crower valve springs
ITR cams
1mm oversize valves
ETS intercooler
FIC 1450'cc injectors
2 255 fuel pumps, one inline/one intake (Stock lines/Fuel regulator/Fuel rail)
Gsr tranny with Racerstev heat treated gears
Gsr Quaife
Tilton Twin

25X8.7X13 M&H Slicks about 20-25 passes on them

Tuned on Crome gold..
Boost control Via AVCR

car made 757whp/460-470tq on Q16

Here are the vids of the day... his first pass was the 10.11@153, 2nd pass was the 9.70@157..they are just ordered different...

With a new set of slicks, lower the boost in 2nd gear maybe itll go a 9.50 or faster???
Does anyone know what the highest mph was on the old T4/T67 turbo?? 156ish?

For refrence the Camra car @ 1:55 is a 16G AWD Auto Talon that runs consistant 10.30's...Im pretty sure it has the reccord for the fastest AWD Auto 16G in the world...

Great times man I love it on setups like yours. It has way more in it too after watching the vids. I would try new slicks and messing with the boost settings in first and second. How much boost is it building in 1st off the launch?

Good job that's moving and u don't have all the high priced parts. That should motivate people on a budget. Who tuned your car. Looking for a tuner in WA that tunes AEM.

Yeah that car is stupid! Funny thing is it was on SNOW tires all day runnig those times

Yes we think with some new slicks and more boost control it should do better.... Only so much you can do with an AVCR

...

96GSR-T, thanks for letting me know i knew it was close...

Just to let people know this isnt my car, its Bubsboostedeg's car Poster #4 in the thread, he just fails at using a computer and HT
