d16y7 to d16y8 help
i just swapped a d16y8 in my 97 civic cx ...
i searched for awhile but cant get any good answers
can i use the y8 harness or keep the y7 ?
can anyone tell me why
i going to use the y7 throttle body for the iacv
i made a block off plate at work for the y8 iacv on the back of the manifold
i can get a 93 d15b7 iacv from a civic lx can the be modded to fit so i can use the y8 intake manifold with the y8 throttle body thanks

The Y8 ECU manual trans uses a 2 wire IAC. Your best bet is use the Y8 harness and Y8 IAC. If you use the Y7 harness, Youll need to pull a wire terminal from the ECU connector and clip it into another. Youll also eliminate the ground for the 3 wire IAC. The Y8 5spd ECU wont command a 3 wire IAC.
ok perfect...
ill use the y8 throttle body and harness
but the thing is the y8 swap i got didn't come with the iacv.. but i can get one from a d15b7 .. will it work?
