Found a deal from a guy who is selling a pair of Tenzo R seats for $180. I'm not sure about these seats or the company, maybe someone on here could give me some info if they're crap or not. I have a feeling they are, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

 

You konw that even if those where the best seats on the universe everyone here will tell you they are crap beacause its not JDM rigth??

 

I'm just concerned with the quality/safety of these seats.

 

safety of the seat is good comfort might be a little down hill i had a set in my old car and they sat pretty low....good thing is if they dont have rails u can drill four holes in ur honda/acura rails and mount them in! i say get em...regular price are over 200 per seat!

 

Go see the seats in person and sit in them and see how you like them. for that price they're not bad. Unless you want to save up and spend like $1000 on seats then wait.

 

i have a red tenzo similar to what the op pictured, and to be honest, theres times where i'd rather have an oem seat. its not comfortable at all. yeah you get the satisfaction of having a 'racing seat', but at that one little expense called comfort. that seems like a good price though, i traded my gsr leathers for 2 del sol seats, the tenzo seat, and a sparco harness.

 

Do you want to trust your life or passengers live to a seat that hasn't gone through any testing? Some parts are ok to buy cheap but not parts where your life is at risk

I had a set of yonaka seats, they looked decent but they were itchy as hell and uncomfortable as can be. they are $600 new i paid $300 for both and honestly that was way too much. They felt like you were sitting on courduroy. I'd say the tenzo r seats aren't bad though.

 

Just got an email back and he said that he had the rails as well that will bolt up "perfect" as he put it. Also, I'm not to sure, but what do i do about seat belts?
