Default Purchasing a 08 civic si

im currently thinking about purchasing a 08 civic si from a private seller.
just wanted to ask you guys on what i should be looking for when test driving/ in the car.

bad synchronizers....

other than that, standard used car stuff.

Don't put a short ram intake on it.....apparently you'll blow your head gasket!

2nd and 3rd gear should be smooth.

also, check the steering while the car is sitting still. there should be no noises.

and the sounds of popping struts indicate an improperly torqued strut if the car is on aftermarket suspension.

and the clutch pedal should make no noise when you press it down. a few of them make a clicking noise when its about 25% depressed, which indicates an impending problem from what i've heard.

oh yeah almost, forgot. the shift boots are complete crap. mine is peeled to the point where i bought another brand new oem one at a discounted price. waiting on the gf to stitch me up a custom one once i find what kinda of fabric i want.
