I recently installed some tri-y headers (smsp) replica onto my gsr swap and obviously I was a bit alarmed with the loss in power, then after getting the car on a lift we found there is a small exhaust leak from the area where the donut gasket (looks to be cracked) and the 2.5 inch collector on the header connects to my 2.25 inch skunk2 test pipe. I was told that I simply need the donut gasket from an Acura Legend, unfortunately they didn't know what year, and the Acura dealership said they need to know the year to order the part. Anyways wouldn't just an exhaust shop have this on hand? Or do I really need to order a gasket from Acura? Any input would be helpful, thanks!
