A/C into a CRX
Anyone know what it would take to put an a/c system into a crx with a factory ac delete?
Just wondering as someone is offering me a CRX with no AC as a trade, however I need A/C in my car for delivering pizzas. If it rains with pizza in the car there's no way to see anything without a/c to defog..
So how much would it cost me to get a full a/c assembly and have it installed by a pro?

I have the full AC system from my car including the wiring and relays. Where are you located? It isnt difficult to install by yourself either. Its merely running some lines and a few wires into a gromet from the engine bay. After that you make sure all your connections are good and have it filled with refrigerant, Which i believe you can also do yourself.
yeah you are too far from me. However, I know there are a lot of people selling their AC that have removed it. The problem with this is sometimes people do not include everything you would need. I would recommend waiting for another car with an A/C installed already.
If I remember right you will need the following:
-expansion valve
-a/c button for your climate control
-a/c condensor
-a/c pulley for the belt
-receiver drier
-a/c wiring
-a/c condensor fan
- either a sanden compressor or a mitsuba compressor, the following parts will also need to match the compressor you decide to go with because they have different hose connections
-a/c hard lines
-a/c bracket
And then depending on if you plan to run r12 or r134a you will have to purchase those as well as the charging oil for the system. But before you run freon in it you will need to get the system evacuated to make sure there is no debris in it. I think I got everything covered. I personally would rather find a car that already came with factory I stalled a/c
