Default Fixed one oil leak...& now another???

sorry...another Oil leak thread. It's a 94 Accord EX with a 95 F22b1. I was loosing 2-3 quarts a week (about 800 miles) I never could pin point where it was leaking.

Crank seal,Balance shaft seal, Rear main seal, Distributer O ring, Vtec oil pressure, Vtec solenoid, and oil pan gasket all look perfect (didn't see any oil). I changed the valve cover gasket, Spark plug tube seals, and I checked to see If there was any piece of old gasket stuck when I changed the oil filter.

After all that I looked like I FINALLY fixed my oil leak problem for the motor held on to the oil for almost a week, but now all of a sudden I can clearly see that it's leaking from somewhere above the oil pan, but I don't know exactly where, but I can see it's not the oil pan or filter. It's leaking ALOT really fast. (went from the top dot to the bottom dot in only 3 hours of driving) I'm just about to give up on this and get a CB7 but I was hoping someone could help me out.

Check the Vtec solenoid gasket, but I don't think it will leak that much oil.

I've checked that already and I didn't see any sign of oil leak. I know that it comes from somewhere above the oil pan, but I can't pin point exactly where, and It leaks even when the car isn't running. I'm leaving huge puddles everywhere.

I'm lost then since you have checked everything else. Hopefully someone else chimes in with some wisdom...

You're gonna have to cleAn all the oil off and restart from scratch. Also replace your pcv valve. Might be bad causing blowby to blow out you're seals

And make sure you didn't pinch the valve cover gasket

Check that your oil pressure sending unit isn't leaking oil. Have you check the back of the head where the head gasket seals the head and block? It may be leaking from there as well.

Onepoint6i:Forgot to mention the first thing I ever did was changed the PCV. The valve cover gasket still ****s good (once I replaced it, I washed down the whole engine)

Nuss: So your saying that the head gasket could be bad? And I haven't checked the Oil sending unit so I'll give that a look.
oh yah and thanks everyone.

Update: so I changed the Oil pressure sending unit,, But I'm still leaking oil. I found that it's leaking from the oil filter Mostly right after I shut off the car. I made sure there was no old gasket stuck, and It's a new filter. I don't have an Oil cooler. I just can't figure out why It keeps leaking.

have you check that the oil filter is the exact one for your car???...since you had a motor swaped...it might be for the body of the car but the wrong motor?

the oil filter for hondas are all the same except older hondas and the s2k. honda only carries two types of filters. it would be pretty hard to get the wrong one as long as it was for a honda.
