Im doing a resto on a 95 coupe and am cleaning the bay now. My question is 1: Is the charcoal canister needed or can it be eliminated? And what must be done with the vacuum lines? 2: On my D series d15B7 there are two lower engine mounts between wheelwell and radiator support on each side, are these needed? Thanx in advance for any usable info

 

i didnt keep my mounts, but i got hasport mounts... i kept my charcoal canister becuase without it i could smell gas.. the vacuum lines if you are trying to tuck them just get a vacuum box mount under intake or where ever you see fit and tuck lines..

 

my charcoal canister isnt hooked up but its there, so you definently dont need it

yeah you dont need the charcoal canister it is just for smog. You dont need it so the car can run.

 

on a ek 99 hatchback, woul you need that charcoal canister??? how to block it off and remove it,,
