I drive a 94' integra LS, 164k miles, manual (5speed)

I noticed a great decrease in power since when i first purchased the car,

for example, i need to press down the accelerator much more to get to a certain speed than when i first purchased the car,

about a week ago the car js died on me as i was driving up a hill, found out it was the distributor, got that replaced, overall the acceleration has decreased greatly since i first got it

I've been gettin oil changes every 3k,

what could i do to fix this problem???

I think you need to do a full tune up. Spark plugs, plug wires, rotor, distributor cap, fuel filter, air filter and pcv valve. Do you have a check engine light on?

 

no but the maintenance required light is on

 

This light usually comes on when you need an oil change. Or sometimes it just needs to be reset. But its normal for cars to loose power after being driven for many years. Just get a full tune up like the dude ^^ above posted. There could be many things causing this problem. Its all a matter of troubleshooting.
