My 92 accord had a code 43 and intermittenly would not start when hot outside. When driving down the road it would start running very rough and lose power and the check engine light would come on. I changed fuel pump and that did not fix the problem. Changed the O2 sensor and it ran great for about 3 days then would not start. Changed the main relay and still wouldnt start right away. Finally did start and ran horrible the whole way home. Any suggestions????

 

Oh and when i turn the key on, engine off the fuel pump does not come on at all. Opened the test port on the fuel rail and had no fuel while cycling the ignition switch.

 

Maybe a bad fuel pressure regulator?

 

you have a short some where in the wiring or a defective fuel pum where did you buy the fuel pump from

 

Had a local mechanic do the fuel pump for me...dunno where he got it or what kind. Iam thinking of checking the distributor (never been changed). But that shouldnt cause the pump to not come on at all?!?

 

And yeah i was thinkin of checkin the fuel pressure but i didnt think that would cause the pump to not come on at all.
