Coolant leak?
Hey I have an 00 gsr and my car is leaking coolant from behind the block. I cant find where its leaking from but when I jacked up the car and looked there was coolant on the tranny and the shift linkage. I have a picture of what it looked like, has anyone ever had this problem? Btw the car isnt overheating or anything.

its probably a leaking hose. on that side there is alot of little 1/4-inch coolant lines there and your heater hoses too. they could have a pin hole or small crack in oe of them. the heater (a molded bypass hose) typically goes out and gets replaced with the cheaper one because the parts stores have to order it so we use a longer bulk hose cut by the foot. then we never order the right hose and the longer hose rubs on the mount in the back of the engine and it wears a split in the hose. this could be you too or maybe not. but check for pinholes in the coolant lines as a possibility. theyre sometmes hard to see in the back of the motor like you said
Also i looked from the top and I saw coolant on the top of the vss. I recently replaced the thermostat and hoses and i couldn't get the hoses back on all the way in. They are on but there is like and inch of room left. They are a bitch to get on and when I tried it the hose wouldnt go any farther is there also another way i could get that on and could that be the problem?
that could be the problem. put wd-40 on the hose end so it slips on better. and also put the clamp about 1/8-1/4 inch from the end of the hose yet not too close the the edge of the hose fitting. the bump on the hose fitting is to hold the pressure better so the clamp has to be before that on the hose fitting
