So I bought this certified pre owned ej8 three years ago from a local Honda dealership for way too much money (but i wanted something completely unmolested so that's the price i paid). I've battled back in forth in my head with what motor to run cuz i just wanted to do something completely different than the majority of people (especially here in the Northwest) do. So in the meantime I've mostly done light mods to the motor (i/h/e, mild cam) and worked alot on the exterior and interior.


So i figured out what motor i want and the setup im gonna start with:

Looks clean. Personally, I'd throw some tint at it and be done appearance wise.

 

I agree. I just want the air walker carbon lip bumper and thin molding and eventually 5 lug with AP1's

 

Ya they are APC they light up blue and red . . I got an AP2 cluster im swapping in but i need to find pigtails. . got it for a good deal with no pigtails

no such thing exists.
Air walker = all fiberglass
BYS = fiberglass and carbon kevlar

Its ironic that you paid "too much" for the car because you wanted something unmolested then you procede to completely molest it yourself....huge stickered out rearview mirror,carbon hood that fits like ***,white windshield wipers and some reverse ricer indiglow gauges complete with carbon fiber surround ....now ya just need to get yourself a black widow body kit and dual exhaust lmfao

 

well the wipers and the gauges u got me on. . the hood was free from a friend and the wink is bad ***. . . sorry its not OEM i should have just left it stock right? maybe u wanna meet up so you can design my car for me. . i wouldnt want to offend any HT members by building the car how i want.


Crazy how you cant just do something you like any more. Everyone has to have the exact same parts. Anything not on this mysterious JDM as F*ck list you get hounded for.

 

Oh and i see you are from oly can i expect to see you May 1st at PR? maybe you can tell me how you really feel or design my car for me there.

agreed! if it doesnt follow strict guidelines of what people expect they go ape ****. You gotta sweet build goin man, cant wait to see that Ap2 cluster in there, let me know how it works out for you cause i might source one here soon after i fix my tranny. And thumbs up on the BYS bumper, those look absolutly mean on coupes.

 

 

Looks like you got yourself a nice project in your hands. Just a suggestions and tip: all b series trans have the same 1st gear, so that makes it easier for yourself. Since your wanting mostly gsr gears, look for a gsr trans.

dude i'm with ya on every one thinking you have to build your car the way they like it. to hell with that. they don't pay for your car or your parts. i'm sick of ****. building car is almost getting to the point where its boring anymore cuz everyone thinks they gotta use the same "parts list" as every other guy thats "hardcore jdm". building cars is supposed to be fun and about building it the way YOU want, not what someone else wants. do your thing man, f*ck the haters

 

get rid of the lug nuts. you dont run aftermarket lugs on OE wheels. Its unsafe man dont want your wheel coming off on the highway at 75. BIG for the F2B though.
