i have a 97 civic dx with the cat on the manifold. i have a guy that wants to trade me for a manifold and downpipe with out the cat. will this bolt right up to my current exhaust pipe or will i have to get an extension pipe made??

 

It will not be a direct bolt up because the D16y7 manifold has the cat on it, the length is different. You can get the EX/Si exhaust pipe, muffler, and Cat conv. but you will also need to extend the wire for the second o2 sensor. I did this in my old DX and loved it since I didn't have to worry about the cracked cat conv anymore.
