I just recently bought a 94 vx hatch. The other night I was going to a buddies house and went to use my highbeams on a back road and when I hit the leaver they came on then went out. Now when I hit the highbeam switch the blue light in the cluster comes on but the lights go out. I replaced both bulbs thinking they might have both poped at the same time but stll nothing. I also checked the fuses and they are fine. Any ideas whats wrong? I dont normally use the highs that often but its would be nice if they worked if i ever needed them.

 

have you check for any sorts? also did you check the fuses with a multi meeter?
May sound stupid but are you sure the fuses you check are the right ones? I have done it a few times.

 

Check the switch.
