Hi all!

I'm going to test-drive a 2007 Civic EX Coupe tomorrow (FG1, I believe) with approx. 70k on it. It has the 5MT transmission. I'm just curious what I should be looking for before I buy it. Any common problems or issues? Anything to watch out for? Any annoyances, complaints, etc. that I should consider before i take the leap and buy one of these? Do they hold up, are they as reliable as my CB7?

I currently drive a '92 Accord EX (CB7) and I need better gas mileage than the Si, so I don't need to hear any advice about "just get an Si".

lol...they're a LOT more reliable than a CB7. As long as you don't get a cracked block, that is.

 

So far, I've got a little over 600 miles on the car and no evidence of problems. I'm assuming a cracked block would lead to oil hemorrhaging all over the place, which there has been none of. I'm satisfied with the performance and gas mileage so far. I've got no complaints thus far. Thanks for your post FijiBlueFG2!
