Wow, nice. I wish i had the time & resources to build up a motor from scratch. Its much more reassuring to know what all the motor has been through when you drop it in as opposed to just picking up some used swap.
Looks like it will be lots of fun when you finally get everything back together

The only things that arent brand new are the block itself, the sleeves and the crank.

Edit: Total job was $446.26 for labor and just over $1000 for rods, pistons and headbolts.

The work was done by Fowler Engine's Inc. based here in Columbus, Ohio. They specialize in tractor pull engines and big *** drag V8's. They kind of laughed at me when i showed them my puny 4 banger block. Still got the job done.. and well i might add. Even have cross hatched cylinder walls

sand the pistons down to remove all sharp edges before installing the head. doing this will allow your motor to resist detonation a LOT better.. and in turn, safer to run on pump gas.
so to bore it out .020 over you didnt replace the sleeves? i want to do a .030 or .040 over do you think ill have to replace the sleves? looks good though. dont paint it, it wont last.
painted blocks look gay.....
Just makes harder to identify problems if one should ever arise.

Looks really nice! Keep us updated
