Default ECU question

just wondering if my p28 ecu would work with my stock b16a swap, just typical bolt ons nothing else and it'll be a daily driver? Or would it be better to get the p30 ecu or even a chip to run in the p28? Any feedback/ suggestions would be great, thanks!

Default Re: ECU question

chip the p28 and run a p30 basemap on it. Don't run a stock p28 on it, it will work but your car will feel very slow and it won't be running right. It'll most likely be running on the lean side. my buddy messed up his jdmb16 for running it on a p28 for like a year straight.
