Default new rim width, same tire?

my 95 civic ex came with some alloy 15x7 wheels [not sure brand] with 205/50/R15 tires. im looking to go with a set of rota curcuit 10s, which are 15x6.5. will .5 inches make a difference?

and, is there any tires significantly smaller? im looking to get her slammed so less tire would be a +. ive tried searching tires and im not sure how to read the numbers lol

a 205/50/15 is aprroved for 6.5" wide wheels so you will be fine. they are bigger than the factory tires and a better fit for your car would be the 195/50/15. you might get some rubbing with the 205 width if your car is lowered (depending on offset)

i see your running a 5th gen civic, might i ask what wheel size and offset your running?

if the 195/50s are better for the drop, i might as well get a set.

the car has koni yellows with ebay coilovers [crossthreaded or jammed with rocks, not sure] and some rusted up beat springs. im looking to get a skunk2 pro-s series, the ones with the full threaded shocks. im not sure what size will tuck in the fender, but not be ridiculously set in from the fender edge. rota c10's come in +18 +35 +38 +40 +43 and +45, so i have no clue on an offset to go with.

i run 15x7 +40. you should be fine with 38, 40, 43 offsets and the 195/50 tire is shorter than 205/50 so that would effectively lower the car a bit.
