Otherwise you might also get help if you posted on that site.
Sorry, I don't personally know much about K-series, much less on these chassis.

do what we a do after a swap.
go to a muffler shop and have hook you up with a 3" straight pipe from the header back to a nice black vibrant muffler or whatever muffler you brought them. usualy $150 for that around here.. sounds nice and its all welded up (dont forget to tell them to weld in 1 or 2 o2 sensor bungs)

if you have money then get your self a apexi ws2 system..or just a ws2 universal muffler....it sound nice & smooth not like the fart cans on eBay.....you can get the ws2 muffler alone on eBay it's like 237 or near there.....the whole system is like 300-450bucks on eBay...& yes they aré brand new cus i have one on my ej1 with a d15b7 non vtec.....but i'm gonna drop a d16z6 turbo into it this weekend.....i want to pushing atleast 250+whp.....
3 inch on a K is a little big in my opinion. We have 2 1/2 on ours and it breathes fine. It is a k24a2 with some different cams. We did put 3 on our j32 civic though.
