In the market for TUNING CLASS
Hi guys.. I know tuning basics, have been through many tuning sessions, I am studying to be a mechanical engineer, and want to make building/tuning a living, as this is my passion, but I want to be ahead of all the stupid morons that are behind the computer softwares in my country, that have tuned 500+ cars but don't know what the hell they are doing.
I have 2 more months in USA so, I can take the classes till the end of june or so.
I researched and found out this particular courses that caught my attention, please let me know your inputs on this.

Also, any other courses relating to engine building, chassis prepping, suspension setups are on my interest.
I'm located in South Florida but I can go pretty much anywhere arround.
THanks HT

I am more or less putting this here as a placeholder for when I get the time to type out my experience with EFI 101 and Advanced.
Quick Version: EFI 101 is worth it if you're starting from scratch like I was. If you've already tuned cars then buy (or download) some books on ICE's and read them and you'll be way ahead of anyone taking the EFI 101 course.
EFI Advanced is a huge waste of money. Go to a shop with a dyno and hand them $500 and ask them to take a few hours and go through stuff with you. You'll have saved $500 (Advanced costs $1000) and have more knowledge.

Any books you guys recommend?
Also, a very reputable tuner in my country is my close friend, and I've been through some dyno sessions with him, but I would like to see how it is done here in US as you guys push a lot further in power, in a range where we have no experience. Besides, I think he pushes too far on the dyno, and as a consequences we've seen some head gasket problems in many of the boosted cars.
If someone is interested in giving me some classes in the top of a dyno, please let me know, we can work a good deal out.
As for my tuning experience, I have some experience in tuning ethanol.
I can make a car crank easy with ethanol, can make it run smooth and safe, but I'm not so confident in pushing timing to the limit, and also, I need some theoretical knowledge, so I can be confident to charge money for a tune.

Hey, I'm not sure, I'm new to tuning as well, and I'm now getting everything I need to tune my car, and when I will have some more money, I'm thinking of purchasing those two books:
1) Designing And Tuning High-Performance Fuel Injection Systems
2) Engine Management: Advance Tuning
Glad if helps

These "stupid morons" are the ones who will end up teaching you how to tune...
Becoming a successful tuner takes tons of reading, tons of practice, lots of money to buy equipment upfront, tons of time, as well as understanding what is actually going on in the combustion chamber when you punch in different numbers.
