Hey everyone,
I have an 96 accord (Obd2) and a 97-01 h22 (Obd2) but am running an OBD1 P72 chipped and socketed ECU. upon plugging my original F22B1 ecu (Obd2) in the accord I am getting 4 misfire codes that only happen on the highway or when i rev past 3k. otherwise it drives fine. I don't think i received the CEL before while doing this this. The problem is, I live in NH and its now time for inspection. My question: Is my F22 ecu acting up? can I pass inspection running a H22 on a F22 ecu? any answers or suggestions greatly appreciated, and if you need more info let me know I will be glad to assist.
Also, to anyone out there with an H22 swap, can you run your Old ECU on your engine?

The 96 Accord uses an injector resistor. The 97 Prelude does not. Are you running the 97 H22 injectors with the resistor in place? This might be the source of your dilema. As far as running an ODD2 ECU, Its difficult to get past the immobilizer function on the 97-01 Prelude. The only OBD2 H22 ECU that will plug and play would be from a 96 H22 Prelude. It has no immobilizer.

What do you mean random misfire ? I believe the egr valve is fully open at 3k so u could clean that and the ports out.
The iab box itself tends to have holes in it. Make sure urs doesn't.
You can try some searches for resistor box I think Ghostaccord knows about it more.
Like they said, you gotta use the 96 ecu as its obd2 but without the immobilizer.
