Default 16x8 +11

Looking to run a 16x8 +11 setup in the front and rear on an EK hatch. I know that this is a low offset and that EK's tend to have trouble clearing in the rear but I was wondering if the lips on front and rear of the fender are ground off, the wheels are cambered, and (possibly) tires are stretched a bit can I make this work? If not, what would it take? If I'm mistaken on anything please don't hesitate to point it out, you guys know better than me!

Thanks

You're better off with 16x7. With 16x7 wheels, you can use tires in either 205/45-16 or 215/45-16, and there are a lot more choices in 205/45 than 215/45. 16x8 is too wide for 205/45 so you'll be limiting yourself to 215/45-16 tires.

Thanks for the advice I appreciate it but to be honest I'm pretty much set on 16x8. Can anyone else help out?

it will work w/ everything you listed above. dropping it extremely low will create even more negative camber as well as getting adjustable camber arms front and back.

if you want to ride that low i would suggest custom or aftermarket top hats to help reduce bottoming out and to give your struts a longer life.

i know this isnt the correct tire size but 205/40-16 is okay to install on an 8" rim according to some manufactures.

i know 40 series is not the correct tire size for your year but for what you want to do, its gonna be a must cus the 45 series may look too bulky at that offset and it may just rub....and i doubt you care about your car's speedo running 4% too fast

good luck

You're talking about standard fitments, and OP wants anything but a standard fitment. He wants that flushed look.
