Default H22A ecu wiring

Hi everybody
I am new to this forum, but not new to car forums.
I want some help guys - I just got H22A engine with auto gearbox (hate auto) including subframe from prelude year 1993 build in Japan for Japanese market. I got ECU as well.. But now is the problem - I didnt have time to pull the wiring. So I am looking for a shematic of the ecu wiring so i can wire it up. I would be very grateful for any cooperation.

Thank you

thanks for the response.
I did manage to find us spec wiring diagram, but the vehicle i had was right hand drive ( Japanese). So specs are different, even connectors are different. I will post pictures with the ecu and connectors a bit later.

I am still searching for wiring diagram

Hi again.
Sorry been busy writing my dissertation.
So here are some pics.

This is the ECU - it has numbers written on it: 37820-p13-n50-553 j-at

ECU connectors

Connectors to the loom on the engine. These are from vehicle not from engine.

Please help me with the wiring diagram for this lot?

Thank you

Aha
I can see now that wires are almost* the same even though it is not exacly the same type of connectors ( in the service manual i found it was shown that ecu looks like if it has 4 connectors but one is not used ~ mine is with 3 so similar). Unfortunately i found 2 differences. One: I dont have wire from A20 contact on the ecu , and I have A10 wich is not mentioned in the manual. ( Colors are different - so not just one pin moved)
Any suggestions?

Skip them. A20 and A10 are EVAP related which is ecology crap You don't need them at all.

what car are you putting the h22 in? if you are putting it in an obd1 prelude, there are only a few things that really need to be done..... you can either get a usdm dizzy with external coil, or re-route existing external coil wires to accomodate the internal coil jdm.. yada, yada.. if your existing wire harness has two thermal switch connectors,,, you might be looking for a spot to plug the second one in... jdm's only thermo switch B (radiator fan).. if you have specific questions... I have answers

Thanks alot.
The car it will go into is Honda Shuttle( Odyssey) year 98 (I am in UK). I want to put turbo on it and have a real wolf in a sheep's clothes. These Shuttles have awful running gear - only automatic (unreliable one) and tuned badly considering they are vtec - in its life it probably shifts vtec only a handful times. Agai bad gearbox and not the best engine. Concidering it has 93k miles on clock - i had to replace the engine and gearbox once already. Idea is to do a swap of the engine from Prelude including the subframe ( these seem to be identical) and MANUAL gearbox. wiring shouldn't be a big problem as most of the loom is identical. Than after i get everything running correctly i will put upgraded ecu and turbo.

That is the idea. There could be a problem or two on the way but hey i am up to challange.

On the other hand what i could do is to take my old F23A7 block(its intact) and use H22A head.

Hm sometimes when you have more options than one it can be harder than no options at all

I do know in all cases i need to figure all the wiring up before i do something drastic with the Shuttle.

Anyway thanks again for your assistance.

BTW- how much this set will cost in USA including: H22A engine + auto gearbox (cant remember the model) + everything on the engine+ radiator+p13 ECU+ subframe including front suspension and driveshafts from Prelude year 93 with 112k miles on clock? Just to check whether i payed too much.

with this new information, my suggestions, might not be accurate..., I'm not sure about the shuttle, if its obd1, I'm probably pretty close, but not 100%

Hi
I never wanted a step by step instruction as it wouldn't be a challenge after all :D .
I am still gathering info before i do anything stupid.
Do you know- has anyone managed successfully to convert p13 ecu from auto to manual ( i do know about moving RP11). As far as i could find all people had same problems with abnormal Idling - has anyone solved this problem?

cheers

P.S. What about the price for the lot in USA? Who can give me the estimate.

Thank you guys very much.
i will be playing with the stuff soon. Still writing my dissertation . Hate writing - I'd rather get my hands greasy. I am on principle - If i wanted to write bloody poems i would apply for literature - not engineering. 10k words ~ 50 pages

P.s. i know about this auto to manual conversion, but i was wondering if anyone discovered the solution to erratic idling after the conversion? I think my shuttle is ODB2, but it doesn't mean that i wont rip all the wiring loom out and make one for H22A engine - I have to remove the whole dashboard anyway - Shuttles always had this awful problem with gathering condensation in wrong places. Heater is temporary rewired, if A/C fan is plugged in - both fans switch on and off every now and then when car is parked (not good for the battery).

Anyway thank you very much again. Have a nice day
