Got a question, is the EK ASR subframe brace compatible on DC2/EG models? The part numbers are different, but there is someone advertising theirs to fit all EK/EG/DC2..

Can anyone verify this?

 

EG's are the ones that are more like GS-R's, I think. I would guess that the EK brace wouldn't work.

 

Integra's and Civic EG's are the same. Civic EK's have a different sub-frame. I would say it is false advertisement unless it was adjustable or something..

 

Man I hate companies that advertise this kind of stuff and say it has such a broad range of fitment that it works with all 94-01 Integras AND 92-00 Civics. In most cases that is incorrect because there are quite a few difference between the 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra chassis and the 96-00 Civic chassis.

 

Does anyone know if the ASR subframes come stamp with any part number on them?

 

Not sure about any stamp on the brace but looking at the ASR site, the EK brace is labeled as EK-RB-02 while BOTH the EG and DC brace is labeled EG-RB-01. Just going on this, im sure the EK brace will not fit. Dont waste your time with it and find the right one.

You can clearly see that the EG/DC brace look identical while the EK is much different.
